துபாய் போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் போலீஸ்காரர் சுட்டுக்கொலை.

துபாயில் போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் போலீஸ்காரர் சுட்டுக்கொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்.  இது  பற்றி போலீஸ் தரப்பில் கூறப்படுவதாவது:-

துபாய் அல் ரபா போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் ஏமன் நாட்டை சேர்ந்த 24 வயது மற்றும் 50 வயது உடைய 2 பேர் போலீஸ்காரர்களாக பணியாற்றி வந்தனர். அவர்கள்  போலீஸ்  குடியிருப்பில்  தங்கி  இருந்தனர்.

 அங்கு அவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் இடையே வாய்த்தகராறு ஏற்பட்டு முன்விரோதம் இருந்து வந்தது. அந்த தகராறு போலீஸ் நிலையத்திலும் அவ்வப்போது எதிரொலித்து வந்தது. இருவரும் மோதிக்கொள்வார்கள். மற்றவர்கள்  அவர்களை  சமாதானப்படுத்தி  வைப்பது  வழக்கம்.

இந்நிலையில் சம்பவத்தன்று அவர்கள் 2 பேரும் வழக்கம் போல் மோதிக்கொண்டனர். அப்போது 50 வயது போலீஸ்காரரை 24 வயது போலீஸ்காரர் துப்பாக்கியால் சரமாரியாக சுட்டார். இதில் அந்த போலீஸ்காரரின் தலையில் குண்டுகள் பாய்ந்து ரத்த வெள்ளத்தில் சாய்ந்து இறந்து போனார்.

இது குறித்து தகவல் கிடைத்ததும் போலீசார் விரைந்து வந்து கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட போலீஸ்காரர் உடலை கைப்பற்றி ராஷித் ஆஸ்பத்திரிக்கு பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்காக அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். மேலும் துப்பாக்கியால் சுட்டவரை கைது செய்தனர். அவர் மீது போலீசார் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

இந்த  சம்பவம்  குறித்து துபாய் போலீசின் தலைவர் மேஜர் ஜெனரல் காமிஸ் மத்தார் அல் மசினா கூறுகையில்,  “ போலீஸ்காரர்கள்  இருவருக்கும் இடையே நடந்த தனிப்பட்ட முறையிலான தகராறுதான் மோதலாக  வெடித்து  உள்ளது”  என்றார்.

துபாய் போலீஸ் துறை வரலாற்றில் இதுபோன்ற சம்பவம் இது வரை நடந்ததில்லை. இப்போதுதான் முதல் முறையாக நடந்து உள்ளது. இந்த சம்பவம்  அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்கள் இடையே அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தி உள்ளது.

Dubai policeman held after colleague shot dead

DUBAI // A police officer has been arrested on suspicion of murder after one of his colleagues was shot dead.

The two officers, both from Yemen, had personal differences and had argued while on duty on Sunday, said Maj Gen Khamis Al Muzeina, chief of Dubai police.

The men argued in their living quarters earlier in the day and then argued again at Al Rafaa police station, where they traded insults.

Police say one of the men, a 25-year-old patrol sergeant, pulled his gun and shot the other officer.

“An argument erupted between the two in relation to some personal issues while they were receiving their weapons as they just started duties,” said Gen Al Muzeina.

The victim, a warehouse guard at the station, died instantly. Officers close to the two men said the victim had been shot three times.

The dead officer had worked for Dubai Police for 30 years. His body was transferred to Rashid Hospital.

Gen Al Muzeina denied reports that the killing, which happened at the station in Bur Dubai at around noon, was politically motivated.

“Some reports have tried to show that the incident was a political dispute between two Yemeni officers … but it was a personal dispute that led to a police officer shooting his colleague,” he said.

“This behaviour was an individual act and there is no specific mindset behind it, but some took advantage to politicise it.”

The sergeant’s case has been transferred to Dubai public prosecution.
